Due to the upcoming retirement of a valued team member, our Sales Operations team has an excellent full-time, permanent career chance for a Sales Coordinator to join our sales support function in our HQ office based in Wacol, QLD. You will be responsible for ordering, coordinating and administering the delivery of Penske Australia truck and bus products to dealers and customers within Penske Australia's network.
Reporting directly to the Sales Operations Manager, this role is a senior administration position in our business and will provide a challenging and rewarding opportunity to support the team.
In this role you will:
- Support the supply chain with functions including placing new factory orders, monitoring the progress of orders in build and customer invoicing
- Cross‑check factory specifications against orders and request amendments as required
- Maintain databases, records and reports required and generated by the sales process
- Organise international freight and logistics as required
- Create and issue repair orders to request compliance work and optional upfit through the Penske Australia Vehicle Processing Centre
- Develop relationships and liaise with dealers and stakeholders to ensure the efficient sale and delivery of Penske Australia products
- Assist with the preparation of client proposals, costing sheets and delivery of vehicles to key clients
About you:
- Proven experience in sales, service, production, project delivery, or in a similar support role
- Basic commercial acumen and a desire to learn
- Basic experience in management reporting, forecasting and presenting
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced skills in time management and task prioritisation
- Familiarity or experience working with the heavy vehicle industry highly desirable
