As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing sourcing strategies that deliver cost efficiencies, strengthen supplier relationships, and support business objectives. This is a high-impact role requiring strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization to drive business impact and success. Some responsibilities will include:
Development and implementation of end-to-end sourcing strategies for goods and services;
Negotiation of contracts and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance and value delivery;
To facilitate and maintain communication channels with vendors for timely delivery and strong partnerships;
Collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing initiatives with business objectives; and
Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory obligations, in particular CPS 230, and Fund policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience
Proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within complex environments;
Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage high-value contracts;
Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and supplier due diligence;
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills;
Ability to focus on total cost of ownership and deliver sustainable outcomes;
Strategic thinker with in-depth knowledge of technology trends, market dynamics, and industry best practices;
Experience in superannuation or financial services is highly desirable;
Advanced degree, such as an MCIPS qualification or industry equivalent desirable.
