Mobile Crane Operator Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team for an upcoming Greenfields construction project in the Pilbara region. This exciting opportunity will involve the development of an iron ore crushing and screening processing plant, along with all necessary infrastructure required to support the operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of the project, working closely with our experienced team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
* Perform daily site crane inspections prior to start-up and record all findings.
* Coordinate with riggers and site supervisors through hand signals, radio communication, or written instructions.
* Assess the weight of all loads and ensure they are within crane capacity.
* Loading and unloading trucks.
* General pick and carry activities supporting larger cranes and major installations across the site.
* Report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Requirements:
The following skills and qualifications are essential for this role:
* Experience working within the mining, construction and resources industry.
* HRWL – CN.
* Construction White Card.
* Unlimited Australian working rights.
* National Police clearance (12 months).
* Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and a Drug / Alcohol Screen.
