About the role
As a Draftsperson Sales & Production at G Developments Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's architectural drafting and design needs. Based in Yatala, Queensland, this full-time position offers the opportunity to apply your technical skills and creativity to help deliver exceptional residential and commercial projects.
What you'll be doing
Preparing detailed architectural drawings and plans to support the sales and production processes
Collaborating with the design team to translate client requirements into functional and visually appealing designs
Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Revising and updating drawings based on client feedback and project changes
Providing technical support and advice to the sales team and construction crew as needed
Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the design and production stages
What we're looking for
Relevant qualification in architectural drafting or a related field
Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ArchiCAD, BIM and Revit
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the design and sales teams
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve technical challenges
A creative mindset and the ability to translate client requirements into practical design solutions
