We are looking for a dedicated HR Officer to assist with HR operations and contribute to the overall success of our organisation.
**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Recruitment & Onboarding**:
- **Employee Records & Compliance**: 
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files. Assist in ensuring compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and the NDIS standards. Monitor HR-related documentation to ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., working with children checks, contracts). 
- **Training & Development**: 
Assist with organising training programmes and workshops for staff. Track employee participation in training and development programmes, ensuring ongoing professional growth. Assist in managing employee queries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. Support the HR Manager in handling employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and other workplace concerns. Support the HR Manager with payroll administration, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee pay and perks. Maintain records of employee leave and absences. Assist in ensuring that Avsar Group's health and safety practices are adhered to, including maintaining WHS documentation and assisting in workplace safety initiatives. Provide general HR support, including preparing reports, tracking HR metrics, and assisting with ad-hoc HR tasks as required.

- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is preferred, ideally in healthcare, disability services, or a related sector. 
- Knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and relevant employment laws. 
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. 
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software (experience with HRIS is a plus). 
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- A valid **Working with Children Check** is required for this role. 
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
