About the Program:
The AIR 5428 Pilot Training System partners with the Australian Defence Force for the development of its military pilot workforce at four operating bases: RAAF Base East Sale, RAAF Base Pearce, RAAF Base Edinburgh, and RAAF Base Williamtown. Lockheed Martin leads the delivery of this tailored learning solution for all Royal Australian Air Force, Royal Australian Navy, and Australian Army candidates, as well as supporting operations for other key Australian Defence Force aviation units.
About the role:
The Subcontract Administrator will contribute to and undertake AIR 5428 sourcing activities, including drafting survey and quotes, work statements, minor terms and conditions, RFQ and bid packages, and analyzing and evaluating proposals. The role also involves supporting AIR 5428 contract administration through contributions to head contract delivery, managing changes to the contract, and participating in relevant commercial activities.
This position can be based in Adelaide, Melbourne, or East Sale.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting management and coordination of services provision from primary subcontractors for the AIR 5428 Program.
* Developing and maintaining positive supplier relationships to support current and future supply chain requirements aligned with the program phases.
* Supporting monthly internal and external subcontractor performance reporting.
* Processing head and subcontract data deliverables for reviews, including RFQs, RFIs, bid packages, proposals, and tasking instructions, and managing resulting subcontracts or artifacts.
* Managing subcontractor invoices, status reporting, and financial transactions.
* Supporting negotiations and implementation of minor subcontracts, including modifications.

* Significant experience in negotiation and issue resolution to achieve positive, commercially focused outcomes.
