**The Position**
Reporting to the Director - Marketing, Inside Sales & Bid Management, this role will see you take a lead role in developing and canvassing new sales leads with clients over the phone, in person, via social media & various digital marketing approaches. Your role as '**Prospector**' will see you engage with new clients and businesses to collect market insights, conduct research, analyse data and create content to support new business deliverables.
You will partner with key stakeholders in sales, operations, commercial and other support departments to ensure we remain competitive and best in class with our service offering.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Undertaking sector research and market mapping/profiling to confirm addressable market and identify and prioritise targeting strategy
- Influencing key decision makers to open doors and create new business opportunities for BD leads
- Actively raising the Compass Group Australia and sector specific profiles through targeted marketing campaigns and prospect communications
- Support and create marketing content development to drive sector-based targeting strategies
- Work alongside BD leads to ensure clear and consistent messaging to clients
- Demonstrating an understanding and knowledge of the respective markets and sub-sectors
- Reporting on planned and completely prospecting activity including breakdown of communications and engagement
- Build and maintain strong internal relationships with key stakeholders
**This role is based in Mitchell Street, McMahons Point, NSW 2060 and Fixed Annual Remuneration is $100,000 (inclusive of superannuation)**
