About the Junior Estimator Role
As a key contributor to our tendering and pre-contracts function, you'll have a significant impact on capturing new opportunities, liaising with team members, and preparing submissions to clients.
* Capturing Opportunities
o Capture new tender opportunities from various sources and maintain our Tender Register or Procore software as applicable (training provided)
* Collaboration and Communication
o Liaise and coordinate with other team members to relay, gather information, compile tender documentation, and prepare submissions to the client
* Supporting Subcontractors and Estimation
o Assist with subcontractor and materials enquiries and review subsequent quotations and follow up as needed
* Accurate Cost Estimation
o Assist in building up accurate cost estimates in analytical format using Expert Estimation software (full training provided)
* Project Scheduling
o Assist in preparing Works Schedules using MS Project (training provided)
* Handover and Review
o Prepare and present handover documentation to the contract delivery team once a tender is awarded
* Continuous Improvement
o Liaise with construction teams to ensure output and resource data collected from completed works is vital for refining and improving future tender submissions
