Intensive Family Therapist Position
The role is for an experienced and passionate Intensive Family Therapist to join our team in Dubbo, NSW (Wiradjuri Country). This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable families and support them to keep their children safely at home.
Job Description:
This intensive home-based family preservation program utilises evidence-based clinical strategies that work towards supporting families. As an Intensive Family Therapist, you will be working closely with a dynamic team to deliver therapeutic models that have been proven to be effective.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline (we are open to discussion if you bring equivalent experience and passion)
* Strong experience in risk assessment with a clear understanding of how to manage safety for clients, colleagues and yourself
* The ability to communicate effectively with individuals and families from diverse cultural and social backgrounds
* Confidence using clinical software systems and the ability to maintain accurate case records
* Flexible approach to working hours including participation in a rotating after-hours and weekend on-call roster
