Join a leading resources project as a specialist in civil contracting and commercial controls. This role is ideal for candidates delivering from both contractor and client perspectives, particularly on high-value mining civil works and infrastructure. Key responsibilities: Lead contract lifecycle—from drafting to close-out—including contract administration, variation management, and claims resolution. Serve as the subject matter expert on complex civil and mining contracts, advising multidisciplinary teams on commercial impacts. Navigate tender phases, procurement schedules, subcontractor agreements, and supplier negotiations. Track contract progress, cost exposure, and risk mitigation to guide project financial outcomes. Maintain project records, prepare executive-level contract reports, and support audit/compliance frameworks. Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years working in mining-sector civil contracting, either in a Contractor or Client-side role. Detailed knowledge of mining infrastructure contracts, NEC, AS4000, or bespoke mining forms. Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Hands-on experience with contract management tools such as SAP, Oracle P6 or project intranet systems. Tertiary degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
