You'll play a key role in promoting a proactive risk culture, providing pragmatic advice, and helping teams understand and manage their risks in a way that enables good decision‐making and delivery.You'll work across technology and data risk, supporting risk in change, control design, issues and incidents management, and regulatory obligations. A big part of the role is collaboration — working alongside senior stakeholders, Group Risk (Line 2) and Internal Audit (Line 3) to strengthen the control environment and uplift Line 1 risk capability.This role is hands‐on and influential. You'll be involved early in change initiatives, helping shape controls during design, delivering meaningful risk insights, supporting governance forums, and contributing to ongoing improvements across the three lines of defence.If you enjoy balancing strategic thinking with practical execution — and want to help teams deliver great outcomes safely — this role offers plenty of variety and impact.**About you** You're a confident risk professional who knows how to engage, influence and add value in a fast‐moving environment. You're comfortable working with senior stakeholders and can translate risk concepts into clear, practical advice that makes sense to the business.You'll bring solid experience in risk management, ideally within financial services, and a strong understanding of non‐financial risk in complex regulatory environments. You have a natural curiosity for identifying control gaps, understanding root causes and finding opportunities to strengthen processes — without over‐engineering solutions.You're analytical, organised and detail‐oriented, but also pragmatic.
