Your day to day:
Operations
Manage the day to day running of Core Restaurant Bar, The Deck, and In Room Dining, ensuring each outlet delivers consistently excellent service.
Plan and assign work, creating effective rosters that balance service delivery and budget requirements.
Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring attentive, efficient, and seamless service across all outlets.
Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction and achieving survey targets.
Recruit, train, and develop a high performing restaurant, bar, and In Room Dining team.
Provide coaching, feedback, and regular performance reviews to build colleague confidence and capability.
Financial and Business Performance
Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage to develop seasonal wine, beer, spirit, and cocktail lists that reflect Hobart's market and guest preferences.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, colleague engagement, and guest satisfaction.
Collaboration and Marketing
Partner with Culinary, Conference Events, and Sales & Marketing teams to execute hotel-wide food and beverage activations.
Support the delivery of special events and promotions that showcase Crowne Plaza Hobart as a dining destination.
What we need from you
Diploma level training in food and beverage management or equivalent.
3 years of related experience, including management experience.
A great communicator, able to navigate and resolve conflict and inspire others.
A head for business and an eye for the little things that make a guest feel special.
The ability to delegate and lead a team.
Ability to be flexible and available to ensure we can manage the busy periods.
