About the team
The People and Corporate Affairs Team is responsible for the Airport’s people strategy (including Organisational Culture, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, Business Partnering, Remuneration, Reward & Benefits, and Human Resources Operations), as well as the airport's Corporate Affairs function (which consists of Media/Brand, Communications, and Stakeholder & Community Engagement).
About The Role
Working closely with the wider People team, the Remuneration, Benefits and Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining SYD's remuneration programs. This involves conducting comprehensive analyses to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures. The analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate and timely reports, which provide critical insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
The Remuneration, Benefits and Reporting Analyst will assist in developing and implementing compensation policies, participate in salary surveys, and analyse data to benchmark positions, ensuring competitive compensation packages. Additionally, they will lead the annual salary and performance review processes and develop tailored compensation packages.
The Remuneration Analyst will drive continuous improvements across the People team by identifying and implementing best practices, streamlining processes, and leveraging data to inform policy changes. They will support key people initiatives and ensure that SYD's remuneration strategies are not only effective but also aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
About You
* Proven experience in a Remuneration Analyst role with a strong understanding of compensation practices, People analytics methodologies, and HR processes.
* Proficiency in visualisation tools such as Power BI. Demonstrated experience with MS Excel and a range of HRIS, T&A, Payroll, Recruitment, Engagement L&D, reporting and survey tools.
* Understanding of compliance reporting requirements (e.g. WGEA).
* Ability to analyse complex compensation data, draw meaningful insights, and maintain HRIS data accurately.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong influencing and negotiation abilities.
* Highly organised, capable of balancing multiple projects with conflicting priorities.
* Proven ability to work autonomously, driving results and collaborating effectively with various stakeholders across the People team.
