The Role
We are seeking experienced Fabricator Fitter-Welders to join our workshop teams in Mordialloc and Dandenong South.
This role involves structural and pipe fabrication across manual and semi-automated systems, with exposure to robotic welding and CNC plasma cutting technologies.
As Lepol continues to grow and transition into a new, larger factory facility, there will be opportunities for progression. Leading Hand and Foreman positions may be available for candidates who demonstrate strong technical capability, leadership qualities, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Day shift and afternoon shift available.

Key Responsibilities
* Fit, align, and assemble structural and pipe components using clamps, jigs, and fixtures
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
* Measure, mark, and prepare materials for cutting and welding
* Operate CNC plasma cutting equipment and assist with basic troubleshooting
* Perform welding using:
o MIG (GMAW)
o TIG (GTAW)
o Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
* Assist with the setup and monitoring of robotic pipe welding equipment
* Complete weld finishing (grinding, dressing, and clean-up)
* Conduct in-process and final weld inspections
* Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
Skills & Experience
* 2–3+ years of fabrication and welding experience
* Strong structural and/or pipe welding background
* Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
* Experience operating CNC plasma cutting equipment
* Ability to interpret complex fabrication drawings
* High attention to detail and strong quality standards
* Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious
Welding certifications to Australian Standards are highly regarded.
Experience with robotic welding systems is advantageous (training provided).
