OsteoStrong Hobart is looking for a motivated, professional individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Administrator. As the first point of contact for our members, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment while supporting our team in delivering health and wellness programs that help people strengthen their bones and improve overall well-being.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent member service : Ensure members' needs are met, answer questions promptly, and offer support where needed.
* Administer bookings and schedules : Manage the booking system, coordinate session schedules, and ensure timely reminders.
* Maintain accurate records : Keep member and financial data up-to-date and accurate.
* Support membership engagement : Assist in retaining and growing membership through communication, follow-ups, and helping with new member onboarding.
* Assist with communication : Manage emails, phone calls, and social media to maintain clear and timely communication.
* Contribute to centre operations : Support the day-to-day operations and work with the team to maintain high standards of the centre.
* Participate in events : Assist in organising local events, promotions, and networking opportunities to engage with the community.

What You'll Bring to the Role:
* Experience in administration : At least 2 years of experience in a busy, customer-facing role (preferably in health, wellness, or medical settings).
* Strong communication skills : Comfortable managing both face-to-face and virtual communications with members.
* Tech-savvy : Confident using booking systems, CRM platforms, and managing digital communication channels.
* Detail-oriented and organised : Ability to multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy in all administrative tasks.
* Growth mindset : A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
* Passion for health : A genuine interest in supporting others' health and wellbeing, and ideally experience in the health or wellness sector.
* Professional integrity : Strong commitment to best practices, honesty, and reliability.
* Working With Children's Check : Required or willingness to obtain one.
Requirements:
Experience in an allied health, exercise, fitness or wellness setting is highly desirable. This is a fast-paced role and requires a high attention to detail, with a strong focus on customer service.
