The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) provides essential corporate functions to the Northern Territory Government (NTG), efficiently and effectively enabling agencies to focus on their core business, Workforce Services - Workforce Operations and Partnerships, is one of the key enterprise services provided by DCDD
Positioned within Workforce Services, the Workforce Business Partners team provides guidance to client agency executives on workforce matters, proactively influencing decision‑making, organisational change and aligning workforce strategies and policies with the agency’s strategic direction and government priorities.
As a Workforce Business Partner (SAO1), you are a key point of contact and strategic partner to a portfolio of client agencies, connecting and facilitating outcomes in partnership with the relevant Workforce Services’ centres of expertise. This involves supporting agency Executives and Senior Managers in their workforce management decisions, collaborating with centres of excellence, and monitoring service expectations. In addition, you will participate in leadership groups, contribute to strategic discussions and deliver reporting that offers data‑driven insights and recommendations.
To be successful, you require demonstrated client‑centric interpersonal and relationship management skills, the ability to influence HR practices and strategic directions, and assist clients navigate a dynamic environment. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex and conflicting priorities and obtain a Working with Children’s Clearance is essential.
