Location

Taree, Lower Mid North Coast – team based within the Hunter New England Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services.

About the Role

Administration Officer Level 4 providing high‐level administrative and secretarial support to the Health Service Manager and the broader multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing complex diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements
* Coordinating payroll, leave and timesheet processing
* Preparing reports, correspondence, and meeting documentation
* Organising meetings, agendas and minutes
* Handling incoming enquiries via phone, email and face‐to‐face interactions
* Acting as a key administrative contact for the Health Service Manager and District Senior Nurse Manager

Qualifications & Experience

* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Proven administrative experience supporting a team or manager
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high‐quality documentation
* Compassionate, patient and understanding approach
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy, complex environment
* Commitment to following procedures, protocols and confidentiality requirements
* Confidence using a range of systems and software
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Experience assisting with recruitment, ordering, invoices and payments
* Support data entry in MERIT database
