Position Purpose
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth through the strategic leadership and direct management of the sales team and marketing function.
This role owns both strategy and performance outcomes, ensuring all commercial activities (B2B & B2C) are aligned to revenue targets, market opportunities, and business objectives. The role is accountable for building a high-performing sales culture, delivering consistent results, and aligning marketing efforts to support pipeline growth and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Strategy & Performance Ownership
* Own and execute the company’s sales and marketing strategy to achieve revenue growth targets
* Set and manage targets, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with the CEO
* Maintain accountability for pipeline health, conversion, and revenue outcomes through clear reporting and dashboards
* Lead key commercial opportunities and intervene directly where required to ensure delivery against targets
* Continuously optimise sales effectiveness, processes, and customer experience
2. Team Leadership & Capability Building
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team with clear KPIs and accountability
* Drive a disciplined, data-led operating culture, including effective use of HubSpot
* Own hiring, onboarding, and ongoing capability development
* Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven team environment

3. Marketing Leadership & Demand Generation
* Oversee marketing strategy and execution to drive qualified pipeline growth aligned to sales priorities
* Monitor and optimise campaign performance, lead quality, and conversion
* Lead and manage internal resources and external agencies to deliver against commercial objectives
* Manage and allocate marketing budget to maximise ROI
4. Cross-Functional Alignment & Commercial Leadership
* Align sales, marketing, and operations around shared revenue goals and priorities
* Provide clear performance visibility to the CEO and leadership team
* Translate customer and market insights into strategic and operational improvements
* Contribute to broader business planning and growth strategy

Selection Criteria
* 8–10+ years’ experience in sales with at least 5 years of experience in managerial roles
* Proven success in driving revenue growth and improving sales performance
* Experience developing sales strategies, forecasting models, and performance frameworks
* Experience aligning marketing initiatives with sales outcomes
* Experience working with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
* Hands-on experience using HubSpot for sales pipeline management, reporting, and marketing integration
* Experience overseeing marketing functions or external agencies
* Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capability
* Certificate III or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or related discipline
* Desirable: Experience in the manufactured homes industry
