Randstad Defence is partnering with a leading defence organisation to secure exceptional talent for a key maritime construction project in South Australia.
We are seeking an Intellectual Property Specialist with experience within the defence or maritime industry.
The successful candidate will oversee the management and protection of intellectual property assets, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement IP strategies to support organisational objectives
* Manage IP and information registers including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets
* Provide IP-related advice and support to internal teams
* Ensure compliance with contract obligations, IP laws, and regulations
* Conduct IP training and awareness programs
About You
Requirements:
* Australian citizenship to hold and maintain an Australian NV1 Security Clearance
* Bachelor's degree in Law, Intellectual Property, or related field
* Professional certification in Intellectual Property (e.g., Registered Patent Attorney) preferred
* Demonstrated experience in Intellectual Property management, preferably in the defence sector
* Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property laws and regulations
* Proven experience in developing and implementing Intellectual Property strategies
