**Job Title:** Safety and Quality Assurance Manager
The role of Safety and Quality Assurance Manager is a critical one, requiring the ability to maintain and apply quality assurance principles, guidelines, and direction in programs, projects, and business as usual.
This involves working within the Business Enablement department and collaboratively with executives and staff across the entire organization to develop and implement process models aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain supplier quality assurance process models aligned with strategic objectives.
* Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to boost quality and efficiency.
* Ensure compliance of supplier quality assurance processes with relevant standards and regulations.
* Lead the SQA team and oversee performance across the program.
* Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and address stakeholder needs.
* Provide training and support on SQA processes and best practices to staff.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or equivalent frameworks.
* Preferred: Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master's in a related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality assurance or process management, ideally in defence or manufacturing.
* Proven ability to develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes and systems.
* Strong grasp of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
* Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in quality assurance tools and software.
