Austral Construction is owned by global geotechnical engineering company, Keller Group plc.
We are currently seeking Site Engineers from a civil background to join our Project Team to assist on a pipeline of projects in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. You will provide support on technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, procurement activities, by working closely with the Project Managers, Site Supervisors and other construction personnel.
Your main duties will include (but not limited to):
* Coordinating with client representatives for any site instructions and inspection of works,
* Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors and the general workforce involved in the project,
* Providing technical advice and solve problems,
* Ensuring quality control & assurance is maintained for the delivery of works in your area,
* Proactively providing input in support of the company in its maintenance of a safe workplace.
You will have:
* Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering,
* Preferably a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar site-based role with experience in the delivery of earthworks projects,
* Strong HSE focus with a commitment to uphold our mission statement and core values,
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
* Ability to deal with priorities and adhere to tight deadlines,
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team,
* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
