Forensic Psychologist Position
This role involves working with young people in custody and the community to develop strategies for reducing offending.
As a forensic psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing interventions to address complex needs such as trauma, mental health concerns, and neurodevelopmental difficulties.
Opportunities exist for both clinical and community-based work, with the possibility of fly-in, fly-out arrangements for those interested.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of young people's psychological and social functioning.
* Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address offending behavior and improve outcomes for young people.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a tertiary qualification in psychology and be registered as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Full registration with AHPRA as a Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist is required for Specified Calling Level 3 positions.
