Hope Kids OT is a growing award winning private practice that offers family-centred, neurodiversity affirming Paediatric Occupational Therapy services to children from birth through to adolescence.
With a strong team over 28 highly skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapists - We provide intervention for children with a wide range of challenges including ASD, ADHD, sensory processing, learning challenges, motor coordination, handwriting challenges, anxiety and emotional regulation.
Currently based in five locations – we have fully equipped sensory gyms in our clinics. With an extensive client waiting list, we are recruiting creative, exuberant & aspiring therapists who want to develop your paediatric skills and knowledge with our company and make life changing difference to the families we serve
About the role:
We have exciting opportunities for an experienced Occupational Therapists (minimum 1 year) to join us on a permanent full time basis.
* Work with a varied paediatric caseload (children from birth to adolescence).
* Liaise with parents or caregivers to establish child and family-centred goals.
* Liaise with other professionals that are involved in the child's care.
* Conduct OT assessments and provide therapy to meet the needs of children in the areas of Autism, motor skills, sensory and emotional regulation, executive functioning and self-care.
* Develop resources for therapy and home programs.
* Opportunity to work mobile/off-site within the child's natural environment (such as kindergarten, childcare or school), via Telehealth and within our purpose-built sensory clinics.

Requirements
* A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
* Registration with Australian Health Practitioners' Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
* Current Driver's License
* Ability to register for a Medicare Provider number.
* Current Working with Children's Check / Australian National Police Check
* Proof of fully COVID-19 vaccination
* Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
* Enthusiasm and previous experience in working with neurodivergent individuals and families (desirable)
* Minimum 2 years of Paediatric OT experience
* Excellent organisation, communication (including written), and ability to work autonomously to manage set caseload
