* Capacity of 27 beds and 2 birthing rooms. Of the 27 beds, three are maternity beds and two are high observation beds. Emergency department has five beds and one Resus Bay.
* Shire has a Population of 15,148, of which 12,000 live within the township. 9.5% of the population have identified as being Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander people.

A Western NSW hospital requires Senior Medical Officer in General Practice for the following date(s).
Shift(s) details as below :
from 13 / 08 / : 00 to 19 / 08 / : 00 at $2300 per day
Ward Shift
* Face-to-face clinical handover with ED doctors in the Emergency Department.
* Inpatient ward rounds from .
* Document daily ward rounds, provide medical care to inpatients, complete discharge summaries and review admitted patients as required.
* Provide medical care to Hospital in the Home patients.
* Provide medical care to admitted postoperative patients.
* Provide medical care to patients in the Emergency Department when the ED is busy and requested by the Nurse Manager.
* Provide medical care in the Emergency Department during the ED Doctors meal break.
* Provide surgical assistance in theatre when required.
* Complete contemporaneous and comprehensive clinical documentation in eMR.
* Provide clinical review and rapid response services for admitted patients.
* Participate in trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility.
* Check pathology and radiology results in the medical results message centre ordered by any doctor, follow-up and document management plans for any results needed further action and review any patients returning for follow-up of results.
