About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Functional Travel Management Specialist for a long-term project with a Federal Government client.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct workshops with stakeholders to define business needs and develop integration plans for current and future processes.
* Create and maintain blueprint documents, configure SAP for PEMS functionalities, and provide support for financial processes in the SAP environment.
* Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge transfer, work with the project team to resolve technical issues, and support data migration and integration efforts.
Qualifications:
* 10+ years of experience in SAP travel and expense management systems, with expertise in FI, CO, and HR modules.
* Strong understanding of travel and expense management processes, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and knowledge of accounting standards and legislative requirements in the public sector.
* Experience in accounts payable and the travel and expense process, as well as strong problem-solving skills and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with migration concepts and tools, public sector experience, and familiarity with SAP ECC6 environments within Federal Government.
* Relevant SAP certifications, ability to transfer knowledge to APS personnel, and opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
