Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Dubbo. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining infection control standards, providing clinical and administrative assistance to our dentists, delivering oral health education to children and community groups, and providing dental screening and treatment to children.
Some days you will be flying to remote communities to provide general dental services, working in Indigenous Health Facilities, and others working from a mobile dental van with overnight stays in local communities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III in dental assisting required and Certificate IV is desired
* Current Drivers License
* Demonstrated interest in dental public health
* Understanding of the needs of Indigenous Peoples
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
