Job Summary:
AusbizConsulting is seeking an experienced and talented Analyst Programmer to joinour dynamic team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible forthe end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support of data warehousingprojects and applications.
Responsibilities:
* Perform ETL transformationprocesses and write complex SQL's using different databases such asRedshift(AWS), Netezza
* Create interactive reports anddashboards using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, scorecardsand cubes using Relational Models, DMR and OLAP
* End-to-end implementation,enhancement and migration & support of data warehousing projects
* Analyze system requirements anddevelop technical designs
* Design, code, test and installapplications programs either in one major language or in a range ofprograms across multiple platforms
* Develop and maintain operatingand system documentation
* Ensure systems are developedwithin agreed budgets and time frames and achieving necessary design andsystems security standards
* Develop and maintain applicationsoftware, cubes, data warehouses, databases, and cloud infrastructure
* Write, update and maintaintechnical program, end-user documentation, and operational procedures
* Provide technical mentoring andguidance to junior team members
Requirements
Requirements:
* Degree in computer science orrelevant field
* Relevant work experience isdesired
* Skills in one or more of themajor programming languages (either 'legacy' or 'hot') such as Java, XML,SQL, PL/SQL
* Knowledge of one of the majorrelational database packages such as Oracle, SQL Server
* Ability to work autonomously orin a team environment, directly dealing with customers and otherstakeholders
* Analytical thinker with apositive and helpful attitude
* Strong communication skills bothoral and written
* Advanced knowledge andunderstanding of the full SDLC. Experience in both Waterfall and Agile developmentproject environments is highly desirable
* Experience using JIRA andConfluence
* Strong understanding of SOA, webservices/REST, client server technology
