 
        
        Cooks/chefs required in a full time position for the Union Hotel, Colac, in regional Victoria
The Union Hotel is reopening in October 2025 after a full renovation that includes a brand-new kitchen with modern equipment, refreshed bar and bistro spaces, and vibrant outdoor entertainment areas. We are seeking a motivated and creative Chefs and Cooks to join our team and help shape the dining experience at this exciting new venue.
The kitchen team will be responsible for delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes with a focus on shared menus that showcase regional produce and contemporary hospitality. You will play a central role in assisting kitchen operations, collaborating with the team to design menus, and ensuring excellence in food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities
 * Develop and deliver menus that highlight shared dining, fresh produce, and regional flair.
 * Lead day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
 * Work closely with the management team to drive creativity, efficiency, and profitability.
 * Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organization.
 * Train, motivate, and support kitchen staff in a positive team environment.
 * Manage stock, ordering, and cost controls effectively.
