Principal Software Engineer (Go / AWS) - 6-12 Month Contract | Sydney | 2-3 days on-site per week.

As a Hands-on Principal Engineer, you'll help design, build, and scale an intelligent cloud security product from the ground up.
You'll work across both backend (Go) and frontend (React/TypeScript), with a strong focus on AWS cloud infrastructure, microservices, and secure system design.
What You'll Do Develop and scale backend services (Go is a plus, but any enterprise grade BE work is ok).
Work across a modern AWS stack (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform) ensuring resilience, scalability, and security Design clean, efficient APIs (REST and gRPC) Manage infrastructure and deployment pipelines (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Docker) Collaborate closely with product, data, and design teams in a highly autonomous, agile environment Identify and solve performance bottlenecks, ensuring a seamless experience for customers What You'll Bring Strong backend engineering experience in Go (Golang) Deep experience with AWS services - ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.
