Job Role
We require a skilled Hose Assembly Technician to join our team and assist in the production of high-quality hose assemblies.
This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient manufacture of hose assemblies, adhering to Australian Standards, and supporting warehouse operations.
* Manufacture and test hose assemblies to meet or exceed quality standards
* Perform tasks including works orders, scheduling, fitting, and cleaning within the workshop
* Represent the company with professionalism when on site, following Workplace Health and Safety guidelines
* Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and promptly
* Operate forklifts and conduct basic non-trades maintenance within the warehouse
* Use computer systems to manage stock control, purchase orders, invoicing, and customer enquiries
* Assist with stock receiving, storage, inventory checks, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in hose assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations preferred
* Strong knowledge of workshop procedures and safety practices
* Forklift license and experience operating warehouse equipment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Physically fit to perform manual handling including lifting items over 25kg, reaching, twisting, and pushing trolleys
* Capability to work in both internal and external environments safely
