What You'll Do

As a FaRS Practitioner, you'll work with individuals, couples, and families using a range of therapeutic approaches to support healthy relationships, prevent family breakdown, and enhance wellbeing.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include
* Providing individual and group counselling using evidence-based, trauma-informed frameworks
* Supporting families affected by domestic and family violence, separation, and child protection matters
* Conducting intake, risk assessments, safety planning, and referrals
* Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver holistic support
* Maintaining high-quality case notes, reports, and data for compliance and service improvement

What You Will Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or Behavioural Sciences (and eligible membership with AASW, APS, or similar)
* Strong knowledge of DFV, Child Protection, and Family Law legislation
* Proven counselling skills including family systems and brief solution-focused practice
* High-level communication, interpersonal and professional integrity
* Strong practice framework grounded in trauma-informed, client-centred care
* Current driver's licence, Blue Card, and AFP check (or willingness to obtain)
