Join a 24/7 acute mental health service supporting consumers in crisis at the Princess Alexandra Hospital Emergency Department.
Make a real impact by delivering high-quality, patient-centred mental health care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, working collaboratively within a dedicated 24/7 multidisciplinary team.
Your new role
In this dynamic position, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred mental health assessment and intervention within a 24-hour Emergency Department service.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions, patient education and discharge planning within an interprofessional team.
* Contribute to clinical education through supervision of students, allied health assistants and participation in team-based learning.
* Participate in quality improvement, service development and research activities under the guidance of senior clinicians.
* Work within a continuous shift roster to support 24/7 emergency mental health service delivery.
