The Opportunity
You'll step into a trusted Senior Accountant role within a well-established Business Services team, managing your own client portfolio and acting as a key advisor to SME clients across SE QLD.
While the role is fully WFH, the firm is intentionally Brisbane-based — meaning you'll still have:
* Local clients
* Occasional in-person collaboration (team days, training, client meetings if required)
* Clear career visibility and progression pathways
This is not an offshore or disconnected remote role — it's local, flexible, and long-term.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients across multiple industries
* Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, BAS & IAS
* Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory support
* Liaise directly with clients and build long-term trusted relationships
* Mentor junior accountants and review work where required
* Identify value-add opportunities and process improvements
About You
* CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
* 4–7+ years' experience in Australian public practice
* Strong experience in Business Services / Tax
* Confident communicator who enjoys client interaction
* Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
* Must be based in South East Queensland (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or surrounds)
