This is a Recruitment Pool that will be used to fill any Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointment(s), with the possibility of extension(s), that arise in the next 1 year and 5 months.

Position Profile: The Child and Adolescent Health Service are seeking dynamic and values-driven individuals to be considered for the role of Physiotherapist within our Child Development Service team. In the role of Physiotherapist, you will provide comprehensive assessments and tailored intervention programs for children and their families of the Child Development Service. The successful candidate will also provide education and support to parents and community stakeholders, fostering a collaborative approach to child development and well-being. About the Child Development Service: The Child Development Service provides multidisciplinary assessment and intervention services to infant, children and young people with developmental delay or difficulties that impact on function, participation and/or the parent-child relationship.

Clinicians adopt a child and family-centred approach, working in partnership with families to address developmental concerns that are of priority to the family.

Our teams include Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and other allied health professionals.

The Child Development Service provides services at approximately 18 locations across the metropolitan Perth area, as well as providing home, school and community visits as needed.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Requirements

Your ability to meet the work-related requirements will be assessed throughout the recruitment process. For your written application please provide the following:
* During the application process, you will be presented with questions designed to assess your qualification against Essential Criteria 1, as outlined in the attached Job Description form.
* Are you eligible for registration by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Please provide your AHPRA registration number and note any required conditions for practice.
* During the application process, please provide a statement addressing Essential Criterions 2 – 6 in no more than 4 pages, as outlined in the attached Job Description Form.
* A current CV or resume which summarises your experience and includes both phone and email contact details of two professional referees, with at least one being a recent supervisor/line manager.

Other Conditions

There are Fixed Term opportunities for substantive occupant(s) who are on a period(s) of Parental Leave.

It is anticipated that first round interviews for this position will be held the week beginning 1 September 2025.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
