Role Description
This is a full-time in office role for an Associate Level Senior Structural Engineer located in Newcastle, NSW. The Associate Structural Engineer will be responsible for managing projects and project teams, liaising with clients, business development and also being on the tools conducting structural analysis and calculations, preparing engineering reports, and drafting detailed structural drawings. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with other engineers and architects, participating in project meetings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to the design and development of civil and structural engineering projects. Knowledge in use of AutoCAD or Revit is not required
Qualifications
- Expertise in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering concepts
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and performing engineering Calculations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
- Professional registration or eligibility for registration is a plus
- Bachelor\'s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the education, aged care, public buildings, or hospitality sectors is advantageous
