Aircraft Engine Maintenance Technicians - Multiple Roles
Job Description
The Role: We are looking for highly motivated Aircraft Engine Maintenance Technicians to support the most exciting engine platforms in the defence sector, including the F/A 18 Super Hornet's F414 engine, the F135 engine powering the F35 Lightning II, and the M1 Abrams AGT1500 Tank engine.
* Performing heavy engine maintenance activities including strip, detailed inspection, and assembly.
* Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with approved publications, technical data, and work instructions.
* Maintaining documentation of work in progress.
* Performing maintenance supervisory/inspection duties as specified by aviation regulators.
* Continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Taking all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Demonstrable knowledge of strip, detailed inspection and assembly of the gas turbine engine.
* Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to maintain documentation of work in progress and compose maintenance worksheets.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals to meet regulatory requirements.
* A passion and drive to deliver to keep customers flying.
Additional Requirements: Applicants may be required to hold Australian citizenship and meet ITAR and/or EAR compliance as part of employment eligibility. Successful applicants may also be required to undergo a current police check, obtain a Commonwealth defence security clearance, and participate in random drug and alcohol screening.
