Join the Diabetes & Endocrine Research Team
Metro South Health is seeking a motivated Clinical Nurse (Clinical Research) to join the Logan Endocrine and Diabetes Service (LEADS) at Logan Hospital. These temporary full‐time or part‐time Nurse Grade 6 (Band 1) opportunities (up to 12 months) will play a key role in coordinating and supporting clinical research studies while delivering high‐quality specialist nursing care to patients with complex diabetes and endocrine conditions within a multidisciplinary team.

Your new role:
In this role you will provide advanced clinical nursing care while supporting clinical research and quality improvement activities within the service.
* Deliver specialist diabetes and endocrine nursing care to patients with complex needs
* Coordinate and support clinical research studies and quality improvement activities
* Provide clinical leadership, education and support within the multidisciplinary team
About You
You are an experienced and motivated nurse who is passionate about improving patient outcomes through specialist care and research.
* Registered Nurse with strong clinical knowledge in diabetes or endocrine care
* Demonstrated leadership, clinical decision‐making and problem‐solving skills
* Ability to work collaboratively while contributing to education, research and service improvement

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
