Overview
Strike Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Draftsman & Product Developer to join our innovative team in Lisarow, NSW. This full-time role is ideal for a technically minded professional with a strong background in Solidworks software. You’ll play a key role in supporting our design and manufacturing processes—helping us deliver high-quality industrial and automotive solutions that lead the market. What you'll be doing
- Produce detailed technical drawings and design specifications for manufacturing processes
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art laser cutting equipment to cut, shape and finish materials as per design requirements
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing
- Monitor quality control processes and make adjustments to optimise output
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to all design and production activities
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to management
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated experience as a Draftsman and Product Developer, with a strong background in 2D & 3D Solidworks software
- Engineering qualifications are a plus, but not required
- Excellent technical drawing and design skills, with the ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings
- Proficiency in operating and programming computerised laser cutting machines and associated equipment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team
