Data Strategy Lead | Sydney (St Leonards)
We are seeking an experienced Data Strategy Lead to join our IT team in Sydney, St Leonards. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy that drives business performance and delivers exceptional experiences for our guests, employees, and community.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a data strategy that aligns with business objectives
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of data solutions that provide measurable outcomes and lasting value
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure initiatives are integrated and impactful
* Partner with external vendors to deliver secure, high-performing solutions
* Provide technical direction and tactical guidance to ensure delivery aligns with business priorities and architectural standards
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum five years' experience in data leadership roles
* Strong technical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for enabling decision-making through data and analytics
* Hands-on experience with data governance, modelling, ETL, reporting, and analytics
* Expertise with Snowflake architecture, Power BI, and SQL
* Experience managing budgets, vendors, and service delivery
* Demonstrated success leading internal and external teams to deliver secure, high-performing solutions
