Restoration Technician Job Description
We are a leading provider of restoration services, specializing in fire, flood, and mould damage. We are seeking multiple Restoration Technicians to join our team and contribute to our growth.
About the Role:
This is a permanent full-time position with 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. As a Restoration Technician, you will be involved in various restoration projects across ACT. You'll report to the NSW Operations Manager and work alongside experienced technicians. There's an opportunity to grow into a more senior position as we expand within the state.
Key Responsibilities:
* Water/mould restoration (drying, remediation, strip-outs)
* Fire restoration (cleaning, contents disposal)
* Contents handling (assessment, remediation, inventory)
* Maintaining vehicles, equipment, and consumables.
* Preparing detailed reports, including damage assessments and cost projections
* Potential for regional and interstate travel during catastrophic events
* Potential for after-hours and weekend work (with applicable rates)
Essential Requirements:
* Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
* Current and valid ACT driver's license (manual)
* A willingness to learn - no experience necessary
* Valid Police Check
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work on-call/after-hours on a roster basis
