WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
Join our team as a Revenue Officer, where you will play a key role in delivering accurate and efficient hospital billing and accounts receivable services. In this role, you will manage invoicing, credit memos, billing adjustments, fee remissions, and debtor accounts, ensuring timely follow-up of outstanding balances and maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and compliance.
Working closely with the Team Leader Revenue Services, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support broader financial operations through reporting, process reviews, and general administrative support. This is a great opportunity for a detail‐oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast‐paced environment and making a meaningful contribution to the financial performance of health services.
WHO ARE WE?
The RSS is a business unit in SA Health and provides services throughout regional South Australia to support the six regional local health networks (LHNs). It employs around 260 people who work in 37 regional, rural and remote SA locations, or in the RSS's three Adelaide offices.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
Deliver accurate and timely hospital billing services, including processing adjustments, fee remissions, write‐offs, and generating financial reports.
Maintain accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, credit memos, debtor management, and follow‐up of outstanding balances.
Provide administrative and clerical support to Revenue Services, including responding to enquiries and assisting across functions as required.
Contribute to financial management, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting effective and efficient service delivery.
Work collaboratively within the team and across the organisation, supporting change initiatives, business planning, and emergency response activities as required.
