We are looking for a talented Software Engineer (Backend) who will contribute to building great products to solve our customers' problems in innovative and efficient ways, leveraging cloud development patterns to build highly scalable and self-healing solutions. What You'll Do
* Design, develop, test, and deploy software features and applications using a variety of technologies, including PHP, Java, React, and Python.
* Write clean, quality, well-documented, and efficient code that is maintainable and scalable.
* Work with QE, ensuring that all deployments are thoroughly tested, meeting our quality criteria.
* Debug and troubleshoot issues, identifying and resolving root causes in a timely manner.
* Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and knowledge sharing.
* Utilise the latest AI tools according to the business guidelines to maximise developer efficiency.
What you'll bring
* 2-5 years of experience as a software engineer or equivalent role.
* Extensive experience with Java, nice to have Python.
* Experience with Spring Boot.
* Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and agile methodologies.
* Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
* Experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub.
* Experience with GCP or AWS.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
* Proactive and self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
