This is an exciting opportunity to lead safety initiatives that make a direct impact across diverse operations.
 * Conduct regular site inspections and audits, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
 * Develop and implement training programs, toolbox talks, and wellbeing initiatives to foster a culture of safety among staff and contractors.
 * Review and update policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks to ensure effectiveness.
 * Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
 * Collaborate with operational leaders and managers to develop and maintain a safe working environment.
 * Prepare and present regular safety reports and updates to senior management.
 * Travel to worksites, building relationships with staff and contractors while ensuring a safe work environment.
Requirements:
 * Qualifications or competencies in WHS.
 * Experience in safety roles within mining, pastoral, or remote operations.
 * Strong understanding of WHS legislation, codes, and compliance requirements.
 * Proactive problem-solving skills, effective communication, and stakeholder engagement.
 * Valid driver's license and ability to obtain relevant clearances.
