About Furner's Hotel:
Historic Furner's Hotel in the heart of Ulverstone is currently seeking superstars in Food and Beverage. We are looking for Bar & Gaming and Bistro Attendants to join our team for the upcoming summer season. With a comfortable bistro, excellent budget accommodation, and a gaming room. Furner attracts locals and tourists alike with its a la carte menu, history, and amazing staff. Come join our team!
What you can expect in a day in this role:
In this role, you will be responsible for attending to inquiries from our gaming patrons, preparing and dispensing beverages, and assisting in the bistro when needed, all with exceptional customer service.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Assisting with gaming functions and operations
* Assisting patrons with both food and beverage orders, inquiries and complaints
* Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Assist with large groups or bookings
* Day-to-day operations of gaming rooms
What you will bring to the role:
Our ideal candidate will thrive in a busy environment, have a passion for the industry, and provide excellent customer service.
We are also looking for:
* Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
* Knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations, and procedures
* An understanding of food & beverage products and services
* Current Responsible Conduct of Gaming Certificate (RCG) or willing to obtain
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
* Ability to work a variety of night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
