The Opportunity This is a hands-on, standalone role focused on leading a critical NSQHS audit and compliance program across the organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take ownership of mapping current systems, identifying gaps and ensuring alignment with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, working across multiple platforms and driving outcomes in a complex environment. You will play a key role in preparing the organisation for accreditation while improving quality frameworks, documentation and risk management practices. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the end-to-end NSQHS audit process Map systems, policies and procedures against compliance standards Identify gaps and implement improvements across quality frameworks Analyse and report on quality and safety data to inform decisions Strengthen risk management and incident reporting systems Engage clinicians and stakeholders to drive compliance outcomes Provide reports, insights and recommendations to executive leadership Support a culture of quality improvement and patient safety This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can navigate complexity and deliver results with minimal supervision. About You You are a Quality Coordinator, Risk & Compliance professional or Clinical Governance specialist with strong audit and accreditation experience within healthcare. You will bring: Hands-on experience with NSQHS standards, audits and accreditation Strong background in quality, compliance and risk management Ability to work autonomously in a standalone role Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Strong analytical capability with attention to detail Proven ability to manage complex information and drive outcomes Experience with systems such as OneVault or CareRight will be highly regarded.
