**Key Responsibilities:**
* Establish a positive and caring environment that fosters growth and development
* Maintain safety through effective implementation of Behaviour Support Plans and Individual Crisis Management Plans
* Promote independent living skills, including cooking, meal planning, budgeting, shopping, and maintaining a house
* Demonstrate empathy and understanding of complex trauma, responding sensitively to pain-based behaviour
* Act as an appropriate adult role model, engaging young people in purposeful activities to develop life skills and self-worth

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Cert IV or higher in Youth Work, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* Current NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
* Criminal History Check (Police Check) within the last 12 months
* Unrestricted QLD Driver's Licence
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Experience supporting young people with complex trauma
* Skills in case planning, behaviour support, and report writing
