Details: There is a temporary vacancy to backfill the position of Assistant Director, Education Strategy within Strategic Policy available immediately for a period of six months. This position is a strategic secretariat role supporting the ACT Public School System Resourcing Review (the Review).
The Review began in October 2025 and will report back to the Minister in April 2026. Delivered by an independent Expert Panel, it will shape the future of ACT public school system resourcing and support equity and sustainability across the system. The secretariat supports the Expert Panel through research, drafting, coordinating meetings and engaging with stakeholders. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and agile team on a high-profile project for the Education Directorate. You will need the ability to manage a high volume of work with autonomy, problem-solve proactively and be flexible to take on new types of work.
