Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will complement the current Maintenance team and play a critical role in ensuring that the plant remains operational via best practice plant maintenance application to plant preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance tasks. Whilst this role will be based at our Bayswater site you may be required to assist with maintenance work at our other sites located at Somerton & Coolaroo.
This role's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Provide technical solutions to improve and develop the machinery across the entire manufacturing site.
* Installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment and/or plant equipment modifications.
* Action outstanding Maintenance work requests.
* Recommend and specify equipment requirements.
* Ensure all plant equipment is in efficient operating condition.
* Work closely with Production / Operations team on improving plant reliability and efficiency.
About You
To be considered for this role you will have extensive (10years+) proven maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Your experience will have been gained in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Have a working understanding of health and safety best practice and legislation.
* Must be a Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter & Turner.
* Has a strong ability on fault finding and trouble shooting.
* Is experienced in MIG, TIG and/or ARC welding/fabrication.
* Has a 'Can do', dynamic, positive / enthusiastic attitude.
* Ability to hit the ground running, work autonomously and complete requested tasks in a timely manner.
* Is happy to take direction and learn new things.
* Flexibility to work overtime as and when required.
* Prior experience in Polystyrene manufacturing Industry will be looked upon favourably.
* Must have full unrestricted work rights to work in Australia.
