The Trades Assistant will assist the onsite personnel with general daily tasks and assist within the factory and on site with but not limited to: general store duties, location case building and receiving - collating materials.
**Responsibilities**:
- Promote health, safety and environmental within and around the work place;
- Handling materials within the warehouse, receiving/despatching to site;
- Assist site works, install cabling, terminations and commissioning activities;
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of signalling systems;
- Perform manual tasks associated with installation works.
- Work within a team harmoniously, providing support to the crew with assistance to completing daily tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential
- Driving License
- Practical & organization skills
- Construction White Card
- Permanent residency/Australian Citizenship
- The capability to pass a Rail Cat 1 medical
- Rio Tinto M1
- Rio Tinto Lock holders
- Rio Tinto Personal Isolation Officer
- Rio Tinto Iron Ore Essentials
