The Administration & Sales Support Officer will provide administration support to the sales staff by providing quotes to customers, collating all orders and inputting into system, ordering distributed product and managing a territory of customers via phone contact to provide sales support to these customers
Key responsibilities
Administration:
- Input all orders into the M1 system-
- Filing of relevant documents when required- Work with Supply Chain Manager to maintain levels of distributed product within acceptable limits to ensure no supply problems for customers
Sales:
- Handle enquiries from customers where possible- Make sales to these customers where appropriate- Contact customers in your territory when possible- If enquiry too technical then hand off to appropriate person to handle
Other:
- Participate and contribute to sales team and meetings- Other duties as directed- Performance Criteria- Timely and correct inputting of orders- Customer enquiries handled efficiently and courteously- Low backlog of unprocessed orders- Contribution to sales team
Skills Required- Certificate IV or higher in business, sales or related areas- Time management skills- Ability to prioritise work- Computer literacy / MS Office 365- Good phone and communication skills- Previous sales experience- Good communication to supervisors, fellow staff and customers
