Overview
Coordinates aquatic operations, safety and compliance at Burpengary Regional Aquatic Leisure Centre, ensuring a safe, high‐quality aquatic environment for the Burpengary and Moreton Bay community.
Key Responsibilities
* Support day‐to‐day aquatic operations, focusing on safety, risk management and compliance.
* Maintain a safe environment for staff and patrons by implementing hazard prevention strategies, monitoring risk and ensuring operational standards are consistently met.
* Oversee emergency equipment readiness, support incident and accident investigations, and keep safety systems, inspections and records up to date.
* Drive continuous improvement across OH&S, risk and environmental performance.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in a similar position with a solid understanding of OH&S legislation and aquatic operations.
* Current Pool Lifeguard qualification and First Aid certification.
* Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines.
Skills & Attributes
* Strong leadership experience and ability to inspire others.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Experience in plant room management and pool operations.
* Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
* Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* Blue Card.
* Current Pool Operations Certificate.
